Signature Frame Usage Tips
The form below is included in your Signature Frame shipment:

Thank you for purchasing your signature frame from Lisa’s Elegant Things.  To be sure you have some tips on how
to use your signature frame, please take a moment and read the information below.

We have packed your frame carefully in a heavy-duty shipping box.  If you plan on moving your frame to a wedding,
reception or party location, you should consider keeping the box, peanuts, and bubble wrap to pack the frame again
and avoid any damage that could happen to it during transporting.

To prepare your frame, first, take the back off of the frame by pulling up on the tabs at the back of the frame.  We
have used tabs that are strong but bendable so that you can get the back off. We recommend you use a flat head
screwdriver and avoid the possibility of cutting your finger or breaking a fingernail.  These tabs are sharp so be
careful!

Once you have removed the back, you will find the mat is the next layer.  At this point, if you have your photo ready,
you can tape (masking tape or packing tape works best) it to the mat, making sure it is centered.

Next you will want to remove the mat completely from the frame.  The final piece inside the frame is the glass.
Please make sure the tabs are completely bent up straight so the glass comes out easily.
VERY carefully remove the glass.  It will break if you are not gentle.  Our 11 x 14 and 16 x 20 size frames have glass
included.  The 20 x 24 size has plexi-glass.  Either way, you want to be careful when removing this piece.  Make sure
to store it someplace where it will not get broken.  You won’t need the glass until AFTER your event.

Now, replace the mat, replace the backing, bend the tabs back to a flat position, and you’re ready for your
signatures!  If your signature frame is for a wedding, you can display it at your rehearsal dinner (to give those closest
to you prime spots on the mat) and then at your wedding or reception.  Be sure to use the gel pen included with your
order or any other gel pen you choose.  Gel pens work best for signature frames.  It’s best to use an easel to display
the frame, but most people will want to lay it down to write, so use your own judgment.

When your special day is over, you should carefully center and hammer the hanger (included with your order) into the
frame, THEN, replace the glass.  DO NOT REPLACE THE GLASS UNTIL THE HANGER HAS BEEN
INSERTED!!  You SHOULD NOT hammer the frame when the glass is in the picture.

There you are!  You have a beautiful photograph with your friends and families best wishes surrounding you to hang
in your home!

I wish you the very best and thank you again for shopping at Lisa’s Elegant Things.
